How do I wash the Handkerchiefs?

Easy!! All hankies can be washed by washing machine at 30 – 40 CL. You just need to be careful not to Iron directly on the print. You cannot bleach them or dry clean them as it will ruin the print.

How will I get my order?

All payments, whether credit or debit card, bank account or Paypal account funded, are processed by Paypal and payment is taken at the moment of order. You will then receive a Notification Of Dispatch email as soon as your order is on it’s way – we endeavour to send all orders out within 3 working days although at busy times, such as November – Dec and sale periods, this may not be possible so please do allow 7 working days total. Let us know if it’s urgent!

All UK orders are sent via Royal Mail’s FIRST CLASS delivery

Orders travelling outside of the UK are sent via standard air mail. They will not have a tracking number – if you would like this service, please add the Priority Mail upgrade to your cart before you check out. All international orders above £50 will be sent via International Signed For air mail. International Signed For will require a signature upon arrival.

PLEASE NOTE: All orders placed from the NETHERLANDS, regardless of value, will be sent via an insured service, due to consistent issues with the postal service. They will require a signature upon delivery.

Please be aware that delivery times will vary depending upon the country the item/s are going to and the time of year. An order is not considered lost until 1 month has passed.

Although every effort is made to make sure you receive your order on time, we are not responsible for delays caused by our delivery partners.

How long will it take for my purchase to arrive?

We do try to send out all purchases within 3 working days of an order being placed, but during busy times (such as the Christmas period) this may not always be possible, so do allow 7 working days in total.

If an item is really urgent, let us know!

Generally, orders shipping within the UK normally take 1 – 3 business days to arrive. Orders within western Europe 4 – 6 business days; further afield (including Eastern Europe, Asia, North and South America and Australia) average 8 – 10 business days but do allow extra time as packages can be held up in customs.

Do you accept non-UK orders?

We do indeed! Just add the item/s you require to your cart and checkout as usual! International postage will be automatically applied.

All international orders are sent out via Standard Airmail unless the order is more than £50 in which case, an insured service is used. Please be aware that occasionally packages get caught up in customs – any customs fees are the responsibility of the buyer.

Prices on the tamielle website are in UK Pound Sterling – if you are ordering internationally please be aware of the current exchange rate. For example, an order of £10 would be approximately $16 USD.

How much is my order in my own currency?

Paypal will automatically convert your payment in to UK Pound Sterling (£). This will show up on your bank/ credit card statement along with the converted amount in your own currency. To find an estimate of your order total, please see below. (Please note that your actual order amount may vary depending upon fluctuating currency exchange rates – this is an estimate only).

What if an item is out of stock?

We endeavour to fulfil all orders as quickly as possible, but very (very!) occasionally, an item which has been purchased may be out of stock. tamielle reserves the right to refund or offer an alternative in this case.

What is your return policy?

We want you to be love your tamielle product, but if you are dissatisfied, we are happy to offer a full refund (excluding postage and packing fees) provided the item is returned within 7 days of the date of dispatch and is in it’s original, unworn condition. This does not apply to items which have been altered to your specifications.

Please note that the return postage is at your (the customer’s) expense. Do ensure that sufficient postage is paid for your return as we are unable to accept packages which do not carry the correct postage amount.

Please email us to arrange for a refund of your order and to obtain a returns code. All goods must be returned to us within 7 days of date of dispatch. We highly recommend using a signed for service as we can not be held accountable if your item is lost in the post on it’s journey back to us!

Refunds will be processed back via the original method of payment; we can not refund to a different card or account other than that which was used to fund the original transaction.

Help! My package hasn’t arrived!

If an item doesn’t arrive within 7 working days of you receiving a Notification Of Despatch email from us, then let us know. For international orders, allow 3 weeks and then drop us a line using the Contact form.

What’s your privacy policy?

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998) and you will not receive marketing emails from us just because you have placed an order in the past. We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent or it is directly relevant to an order you have placed.

The type of information we will collect about you includes:

* your name

* address

* email address

These are collected by Paypal for the strict intention of processing your order and will not be used for any other purpose, nor will they be disclosed to a third party. As Paypal processes all payments, we have no access to any credit card numbers or bank details at any point.

This information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.

Do you accept any other forms of payment other than Paypal?

You no longer need a Paypal account to pay through paypal – yay!

But if you’d rather pay another way, we also gladly accept cheques. Either email us your order using the contact box. We will then get back to you pronto to confirm your order and give you all the details you need!

PLEASE NOTE: if you pay with an echeque via Paypal (or indeed, a real cheque) your order WILL NOT ship until payment has cleared. This can take up to 10 days, so please order ahead of time if you need your order by a certain date.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or regular account payments all through PayPal.

How secure is this store?
